It's not particularly beautiful, but it's easy and almost entirely along one road, Avenida Division del Norte, that has it's own bike lane and isn't too crazy busy. People are distracted. For road cyclists, the best time of the week to be in Mexico City is early on weekend mornings. Despite being overwhelmingly busy with tourists and locals on Saturdays, it's worth going to. We operate Bike-Mexico in the Puerto Vallarta area because of the uniquely beautiful mix of Mexican culture, jungle, beaches and beautiful high mountains.
